Slides & Fruit

Today’s run was 8 miles at an 8:02 pace and I was able to get out a bit earlier! I am getting closer to being an early morning runner! I used to do all my runs super early, 5:30. Okay so super early is totally relative to the person because I know some runners who are out the door by 4:30! I somehow turned into a not so early runner; sometimes at lunch, sometimes after teaching, sometimes in the evening. I really like doing my run in the morning the most! I love the feeling of having it done before the day gets going! So anyways, being out the door between 6 and 6:30 is my goal….which should not be too hard as long as I don’t go to bed at midnight!

Today was also a Costco run…did I mention I LOVE fruit! Vanilla Almond Luna bars are also great! I am so looking forward to putting that fruit in some Greek yogurt with those granola bunches!!!


Now for the slides!!!!! We went to a super fun water park. It was really nice because we had a few showers before we got there were not many people there. Doesn’t it look fun?!

      Thanks! My husband is a Pastor and can sometimes work from home but it is so unpredictable and something always comes up. It just works out so much better for me to get it done in the morning. It is just a matter of making it a habit :). Have a great night!

      It gets hearder for me as we get into winter! I live in Iowa and when it is cold and dark in the morning I like to stay in bed :). Thankfully I have some flexibility and can usually go in the afternoon!!! Have a great day!

    So glad I found your blog! Love the name. I would love to one day be an early morning runner! Having your workout done before you get busy doing other things always feels so great! The only problem is, I haven’t found a way to part with that exra hour of sleep 🙂

      Thanks!!! I have been wanting to start one for a long time but have just been intimidated by all the computer stuff. I finally just decided to do it and I would figure it out as I go :)! I am working on it…tomorrow I am hoping to be out by 6:30…it didn’t happen today so we’ll see. It is nice that I can be somewhat flexible…but it still feels the best to have it done early! It would be best if I could just get to bed a little earlier and get up a little earlier….easier said than done! Thanks for visiting my blog! I am having so much fun with it and will be doing posts daily!
