Phew! That is all I can say. Christmas is over. It seems to have come and gone by so fast! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! It is such a special time of year. A time to reflect on the ultimate gift that was given to us! Sure time with family and presents are really nice, but what it is really about is Jesus and the sacrifice he gave for us.
We had such a great Christmas, and now that it is over the summer weather can come back :)! Here are some of our Christmas festivity pictures:
Alyssa was thrilled to get a sweatshirt with thumb holes! And what Christmas is complete without Legos?!
After 3 days in a row on the treadmill I was more than excited to get to run outside the last 3 days!!! I did 8 miles on Thursday and Friday and 9 miles on Sat. They were all pretty easy pace miles (I am currently having a hard time getting any kind of speed going). On Friday and Sat I decided to get the girls out for a run too. It was just so nice out (like 40!) and good for them to get moving :). We did a mile together and they did really good!!!!
Now we are headed to an early New Years Eve party at our church. I am pretty excited about this taco ring bake that I made…I’ll have to let you know how it turns out!…and of course, Oreo dirt cake (my favorite)!
Did I forget to mention the best popcorn there ever was…..
I have been working on some new running goals and some ways to achieve them to share with you this week!!!
Today’s freezing temp here….8 degrees!
What is your weather like?
Are you recovering from Christmas?
